Obsidian

I'm not going to lie, but I absolutely adored this book.  It had all my favorite kinds of spice. Romance, danger, adventure, supernatural powers, and lastly, aliens.  It's also kind of hilarious, because the main character, Katy, well her character does a little book review blog, and it's kind of embarrassing, but it's what made me do this.  Back to the book though, it made me crazy.  The book is about a a girl, Katy, who just moved to West Virginia, and well, like all the good stories go, her life turned up-side down.  Back in Florida, she had just been another book blogger, and then she moved to the dullest places on Earth.  A small town in West Virginia with nothing extraordinary about it.  Well, okay, maybe one thing extraordinary about it, her new neighbor, Daemon Black. An infuriating, arrogant teenager, who lives to make Katy go crazy. But when he makes time stop for Katy, she discovers that there's something different about him.  And when something comes to town, her life is uprooted and thrown apart before she can take a breath.  With Daemon as her protector and his sister as her bestie, she discovers that there's more than life than just her book blog.

Sorry, but I have a careless way of writing too much.  But what can I say, I love reading, I love everything about reading, and it's kind of sad, but my life revolves around reading.  Okay, not sad to say, but ecstatic about saying. So I'm going to write more.

Jennifer Armentrout wrote a stunning series that made my bones shake.  I loved her style and her descriptors, well I can tell you that it was all very vivid.  It was one of those books that was embarrassing to read, but I loved it too much to actually be embarrassed.  Something that made me laugh and smile was the humor.  It was all too hilarious.  I just wanted to drop on the ground, slam my hands down with laughter, because it was all too good. Like i've said before, this book has a little big of everything. Action, romance, humor.  This book was heart-stopping, and there are only good things to say about it.  But, okay, there was some language that was iffy, but seriously, there will always be a book with questionable language.

Don't forget that this is a series. Obsidian is just the first book, so if you loved it, then there is a second book. Onyx is the second book in the series, and there are many more to come after that.  If you're the kind of gal or guy who would love a good twist and some interesting flavors, try this new brand of book domain....I think that's the word I'm looking for.
