Divergent is set in a sci-fi dystopian society. In a futuristic Chicago, Beatrice Prior has to choose what she's going to do with her life. Chicago is separated into five different factions that represent a different virtue of humanity. Whether to stay with her family or leave them and never see them again. And when she makes a choice that nobody expects, she has to learn not only bravery in strength but courage to do what is right. During her Initiation into her new faction, she meets a super HOT boy and we all know classic love story...maybe.
This book is amazing. I may just think that because I LOVE dystopian fiction and it does help that it's sci-fi too. Anyway, this book had all the right spices. Full of danger, romance, and action, it couldn't get much better. When I first saw it, I wasn't so sure about getting it, the reviews weren't bulking it up but after reading it, it's become the book of the week. What I want do most right now is completely delete the book from my mind so that I could re-read and go just as crazy as I did the first time. The book was that good and there aren't that many books that can do that to me. I'm hard when it comes to books, but not that hard. Contradiction... Sorry, now I'm just babbling.
Anyway, go to the library, have your eyes roam the book spines and when you see Divergent, grab it, check it, read it! GCR! My favorite thing to do at a library. Anyway, if you're looking for a book to read, Divergent is definitely the book to read! :)
